Information for doctoral students

At the start of planning and carrying out a PhD project, organisational and personal questions often arise. The Graduate School offers open consultation hours, to which all interested parties are warmly welcome; individual consultation appointments can also be arranged.

If you would like to do a doctorate at the Doctoral Centre for Sustainability Sciences, submit your complete application for acceptance as a doctoral candidate with all documents to the Graduate School. The doctoral regulations of the doctoral centre apply to the submission of an application. Please note that an application must be submitted in written and digital form, whereby the digital documents must be combined in one file. Templates are available for submitting an application for acceptance.

The application must be submitted 30 days before the doctoral committee meeting at which a decision is to be made. You can find the dates of the next doctoral committee meetings here.
