Cooperative Doctorate

Students at Hochschule Darmstadt can pursue a doctorate as a cooperative doctorate after completing their studies at the h_da. Hochschule Darmstadt can provide suitable Master's graduates with access to a cooperative doctoral programme with national and international partner universities. For this purpose, the university has various agreements for the realisation of cooperative doctorates and the establishment of cooperative platforms.

In this arrangement, the doctoral candidates are usually involved in a research project at Hochschule Darmstadt and are jointly supervised by a professor from h_da and the respective partner university, which also awards the doctorate in accordance with its relevant doctoral regulations.
