Matriculation at h_da

Doctoral students at Hochschule Darmstadt are obliged to enrol at the university. There are two different options:

First matriculation for doctoral candidates who have been accepted at a doctoral center. Enrolment takes place at the university of their first supervisor. For enrolment, the currently valid semester fee must be paid on the central semester dates.

Second enrolment for cooperative doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates at an inter-university doctoral center with a second supervision at Hochschule Darmstadt. Proof of first matriculation must be submitted and the semester fee minus the administrative fee must be paid.

Each semester, students must re-register with the Graduate School using the online form within the central re-registration period and pay the semester fee on time.

In case doctoral students do not need the RMV semester ticket, after payment of the semester fee an application for reimbursement of the ticket can be submitted within the application period directly to the AStA of Hochschule Darmstadt.
