Enrolment

The Graduate School offers various options for enrolment at Hochschule Darmstadt:

Enrolment at the Graduate School for the phase of doctoral preparation;

for accepted doctoral candidates at a doctoral centre, first enrolment as a doctoral student is mandatory if the first supervision takes place at Hochschule Darmstadt;
for accepted cooperative doctoral candidates and for doctoral candidates at an inter-university doctoral centre with first supervision at a partner university and second supervision at Hochschule Darmstadt, second enrolment as a doctoral student is obligatory with simultaneous enrolment at the partner university.

In each of these cases, every semester timely re-registration is required in accordance with the central semester schedule of Hochschule Darmstadt.

h_da user account

By enrolling, you will receive an h_da user account. Activation can be done via the self-service functions for students.

In any case, timely re-registration to the central semester deadlines of the Hochschule Darmstadt is required each semester.

Enrolled doctoral students can carry out various tasks online at https://my.h-da.de/ in the self-service portal using the h_da user account.
